Q1-2008 sales: €2.72 m - Software publishing: up 20%
Noisy-le-Grand, 17 April 2008 – Staff&Line, a major European IT Management player, has just published its sales for the first quarter of the 2008 financial year.
Staff&Line recorded sales of €2.72 m, up 2.6% from Q1-2007.
Q1 sales were in line with the strategy announced on presentation of FY2007 results.
SOFTWARE PUBLISHING: LICENCES, MAINTENANCE AND INTEGRATION: up 20%
For the third consecutive quarter the core software publishing business posted organic growth of at least 20%, boosting sales to €2.5 m.
In France, Q1 sales were helped by the spurt of EasyVista licence sales, up 19% after the slowdown during the election period towards the end of 2007.
Internationally, the marketing efforts deployed by Staff&Line are already beginning to produce results with EasyVista sales up 37% in Southern Europe and 7% in the United Kingdom.
The group continued to withdraw from its non-strategic services business (IT inventories), primarily in Southern Europe, where sales of this business line were down 65%.
NEW CONTRACTS
During the first quarter, Staff&Line signed several large contracts, including the contract with INSEAD in France.
In the United Kingdom, the group continued to expand in its historic target markets, particularly reflected in the arrival of Rabobank and the Civil Aviation Authority.
In Spain, Staff&Line signed a general agreement with Grupo Bergé, a car importer established in all Spanish ports, under which the customer’s 14 regional Services Desks will be pooled at a single platform.
The first quarter brought Staff&Line its first customers for EasyVista Outsourcers, i.e. Teleperformance Technical Help in all European countries, and Semantic Systems and Alsys in Spain.
