EasyVista and Verdikt announce strategic partnership to help companies reduce the environmental impact of their information systems

EasyVista, a global SaaS provider for comprehensive IT service management (ITSM), IT monitoring, Enterprise Service Management, and Remote Support, announces its partnership with Verdikt, a SaaS platform for measuring and monitoring CSR maturity and performance of information systems.

“Managing the carbon footprint of information systems is an increasingly important issue for companies, who must not only be able to measure their emissions accurately and reliably, but also to report on them to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, particularly under the REEN (Reducing the Environmental Footprint of Digital Services) law and the new requirements of the CSRD Directive,” comments Cédric Cibot-Voisin, EasyVista's Director of Operations France. “By integrating Verdikt's technology, we are now offering an additional brick to our solutions, in line with the challenges of sustainability and Green IT. This partnership enables our customers to go beyond the management of their IT services, to include an essential CSR dimension.”

Complementary offerings

The partnership between EasyVista and Verdikt is based on the highly complementary nature of their offerings. The Verdikt platform, which assesses the maturity and performance of information systems in terms of the three pillars of CSR (environmental, social and economic), must be based on reliable, comprehensive data.

“Thanks to EasyVista's ability to centralize qualitative data and offer a precise and exhaustive mapping of IT assets, Verdikt can exploit this data repository to precisely measure all the CSR impacts of the various IT areas of the information system through multi-criteria indicators: carbon footprint, energy and water consumed, impact of raw materials used, etc.,” comments Christine Heckmann, CEO and co-founder of Verdikt. “Drawing on EasyVista inventories, Verdikt then generates advanced dashboards that feed directly into companies' extra-financial reporting, enabling them to implement reduction plans and comply with regulations.”

In addition to its impact measurement functions, Verdikt's SaaS platform offers concrete improvement plans to help companies significantly reduce their environmental, social, and economic footprint. Depending on the diagnostic results, qualitative and quantitative recommendations can, for example, target IT asset lifecycle extension, hosting strategies in geographies with a low energy mix, equipment reuse, infrastructure optimization, as well as sustainable purchasing and IT partners.

“On average, the improvement plans generated by the Verdikt platform provide our customers with the potential to reduce the carbon footprint of their information system by 10-20%. The ability to re-evaluate over time to measure the reductions achieved on the projects implemented is, of course, available within the platform,” emphasizes Christine Heckmann.

Through this partnership, joint EasyVista and Verdikt customers benefit from a comprehensive, integrated solution to optimize the performance of their IT services, and control the environmental, social and economic footprint of their infrastructures and IT teams.

As part of this partnership, EasyVista and Verdikt will be hosting a workshop on November 6 at the GreenTech Forum 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, entitled “Sustainable IT transformations: the EasyVista x Verdikt integrated offering”.
