FUSION 16: Why What Happens in Vegas, Won’t Stay in Vegas

It’s said that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” But that’s not always the case. No, I’m not talking about dealing with the aftermath of an Elvis-officiated wedding. I’m talking about FUSION, the annual service management conference and expo held by itSMF USA and HDI. This event brings together thousands of top IT service management professionals to network and learn with the best. The ultimate goal being to return home with the tools, knowledge, and contacts they need to improve ITSM processes and steer their business towards the next generation service management practices of the future.

As a proud Platinum Sponsor of FUSION 16, EasyVista is excited to share its unique, mobile-first approach to ITSM with attendees, helping them to prepare for the digital workplace with customized self-service apps and portals. Read on to hear about all the fun things we have planned in Booth 203.

Win a Bluesmart carry-on

One lucky winner will be going home with a Bluesmart, the most powerful carry-on in the world. Appropriately called “The iPhone of Luggage” by BBC, this thing tracks itself, auto-locks, and charges your mobile devices on the go. Enter to win at Booth 203!

EasyVista sessions

  • Chief Information Officer or Chief Strategy Officer? Why not both? Hear how a service-centric approach and efforts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations across multiple countries helped one CIO evolve towards a CSO. The Martin Agency’s Jonathan Bourke will present a Solution Spotlight on Wednesday, November 2nd at 12:50 pm.
  • Applying the Mobile-First Mindset to IT. Tim Wilde, EasyVista’s Senior Solutions Consultant, will explain why a “mobile-first” mindset is about more than just catering to the needs of mobile users— it’s about applying modern mobile experience principles to all areas of IT. This session is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 am.
  • Beyond BYOD: How Mobility Is Transforming Service Management. EasyVista’s Support and Customer Success Senior Manager Benoit Tessier will explain why the bring-your-own device trend is just the beginning. Being “mobile-enabled” is not enough – IT must take a mobile-first view to their technology, their applications, and how they support end users. This session takes place on Friday, November 4th at 10:15 am.

Cocktail reception at the Centrifuge Lounge

We’re hosting a special invite-only cocktail reception at the Centrifuge Lounge located in the MGM Grand on Wednesday, November 2, at 8:30 p.m. Invites are required for entry so please stop by the booth for more info. Attendees who tweet using our special #EVFUSION hashtag will take home one of our fun, flashing LED shotglass beads!
